20 FIGHTER WING CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY Published May 29, 2014 By 010514 SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Col. Clay Hall is scheduled to relinquish command of the 20th Fighter Wing to Col. Stephen Jost at a change of command ceremony here at 9:20 a.m., May 30, in Hangar 1200. Maj. Gen. Jake Polumbo, Ninth Air Force commander, will preside over the ceremony.Prior to taking command of the 20th FW, Jost served as the 33rd Operations Group commander at Eglin AFB, Florida.As commander of the 20th FW, Jost will lead the Air Force's largest F-16CJ Fighting Falcon combat wing in its mission to maintain readiness to deploy and employ combat forces in support of operational wartime requirements worldwide. He will assume responsibility for a 18-squadron wing including three F-16 squadrons, which total more than 80 F-16CJ Fighting Falcons. He will also be responsible for more than 7,000 personnel assigned to Shaw AFB.Hall has been the 20th FW commander since March 2012. His next assignment will be director of operations, Ninth Air Force, Shaw AFB.-30-
