5/2/2012 - Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. -- This week's Shaw Spotlight is Tech. Sgt. Christopher Miley, 20th Logistics Readiness Squadron dispatcher and Shaw Air Expo vehicle coordinator, from Chesnee, S. C.
"The LRS transportation team will be a critical piece to the air expo," said Miley. They have been working to help make transportation easier during the air show. "We have a lot of civilians' downtown at the mall helping, and we are very grateful. We also have had participation from the community that has helped us so much."
There will be around 40,000 to 60,000 people transported around the same time and over 80 vehicles that we have for the performers at that time also.
Aside from the expo LRS is also going through a logistics compliance assessment program inspection very soon they're trying to prepare for.
