5/30/2012 - SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Shaw Air Force Bases' pool opened May 25 and the swimming season runs until Sept. 3, Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Woodland Pool is located next to the base chapel and across from the Carolia Skies Club and conference center. This pool has a water slide, wading pool and large sun deck. It is utilized for children and adult swimming lessons, daily lap swim and open recreation swimming. Changing rooms and showers are available at the pool house.
The hours of operations for the pool is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Lap swim times for the pool is Mon. through Fri. 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m.
The Lakeside Pool is closed.
