7/31/2012 - SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Airmen assigned to the 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron recently completed a paint job on an F-111 "Aardvark" aircraft here.
The F-111 was assigned to the 20th Fighter wing from 1970 to 1993. It flew on 21 missions during Operation Desert Storm and will now be on display as a static aircraft here at Shaw.
