8/7/2012 - SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C -- 9th Air Force commander Maj. Gen. Lawrence Wells visits 20th Fighter Wing personnel here on Aug. 6, 2012. Even though Wells is officially stationed at Shaw, he doesn't get the opportunity to observe regular base operations due to his schedule; therefore a visit is planned yearly that allows him to see daily operations, and most importantly, meet the Airmen behind the 20th FW success.
