Schedule medical appointments online

Medical appointments can be scheduled online at TRICARE Online.  The TRICARE Online website does require the user to be registered. 

Types of appointments available online:
- All family practice appointments
- Active duty optometry appointments
- Most pediatric appointments

TRICARE Online provides:
- Schedule 20th Medical Group appointments at any time 
     - Types of appointments available online:
          - All family practice appointments
          - Active duty optometry appointments
          - Most pediatric appointments
- View directions, maps, contact information, clinic hours 
- Information on TRICARE programs such as dental and pharmacy services 
- Create a personal health journal
- Access health information and management tools

Enrollment Procedures
- Enroll in person at the local TRICARE Service Center (TSC) or request an application package from HMHS by calling (800) 444-5445. 

- For enrollment to take place the next month, enroll by the 20th of the current month. After the 20th, enrollment becomes effective the second month. Active duty member enrollment is effective immediately 

Enrolling a Newborn in TRICARE Prime
- Enrollment as soon as possible after birth is recommended, but must be done within 60 days of birth otherwise the beneficiary may be responsible for charges incurred.

- Take the certificate of birth to the military personnel flight customer service counter and enroll the newborn in DEERS. 

- Next, visit the TSC to complete a new enrollment form indicating the newborn's name, date of birth, address and PCM clinic to be assigned. 

- For additional information on newborn coverage call 1-800-444-5445 or visit the TSC for a briefing by a Beneficiary Service Representative.

Enrollment Fees
- Active Duty and Family Members: None 

- Retirees, their family members, and survivors:
$230 annually for one member ($57.50 per quarter)
$460 annual maximum per family ($115.00 per quarter)
