Airmen work together to maintain emergency readiness

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Justin Eason, 20th Civil Engineer Squadron readiness and emergency management journeyman, left, and Senior Airman Carola Anselmi, 20th Aerospace Medicine Squadron bioenvironmental journeyman, put tape onto a soil sample container during a joint quarterly chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear exercise at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., June 21, 2017. The Airmen used tape to prevent any simulated hazards from escaping the container during the exercise, which maintain their flights’ readiness to respond to various emergencies, such as aircraft mishaps and hazardous material spills.
