AFCENT hosts first Senior Enlisted Leaders Conference

U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Shawn Drinkard, command chief of U.S. Air Forces Central (AFCENT) Command, greets the Senior Enlisted Leaders Conference (SELC) members during the first AFCENT SELC, Jan. 6, 2020, in Sumter, South Carolina. The senior enlisted leaders in attendance are from the U.S., Australia, Canada, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. The conference, lasting from Jan. 6 – 9, consisted of participants describing the enlisted force structure of each country’s air force, a tour of Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., and discussions of how to strengthen and develop the leadership of the noncommissioned officers in their respective service.
