The 20th Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office can provide Team Shaw members with the following studio services: official, full length, government passport, ISOPREP and visa photos.
- Official photos are considered "head and shoulders photos" in which the subject is positioned beside a U.S. flag in front of a gray background. These photos are typically used for biographies, chain of command walls, award packages and developmental special duty applications.
- Full length photos show a subject at the position of attention in uniform in front of a white background with the subject visible from head to toe. These photos are typically used for DSD applications, special assignment applications and some award packages.
- The PA office can only provide passport or visa photo services when the photos are used for official government travel.

To schedule an official and full length photos visit Schedule Studio Appointment. To schedule an ISOPREP call 803-895-1620. After the appointment is scheduled you will be redirected to fill out an Air Force Form 833 - Multimedia Work Order and email it to 20FWpublicaffairs@us.af.mil.

Your uniform and appearance must be in compliance with AFI 36-2903.
All photos will be emailed to the customer and be made available on a network drive by close of business on the day the photo is taken. A link to the drive will be available in the calendar invite when an appointment is scheduled.
The Community Engagement section serves as the liaison between Shaw Air Force Base and neighboring communities and can schedule civic group tours or find event speakers.
20th Fighter Wing Speaker's Bureau
The Air Force Speakers Program works to increase face-to-face contact with the public to help build and sustain understanding and support for our service during this critical time in our nation's history. The men and women of Shaw AFB make excellent guest speakers for civic organizations, schools, universities and community events. Team Shaw members can discuss numerous Air Force topics they with the public, including the wing mission, the base's economic impact and our role in national defense.
Requests require a minimum of 30-days notice.

The Media Relations section is Shaw's liaison with local, regional, national and international news outlets.
Public Affairs Airmen tell the 20th Fighter Wing story by writing news articles and press releases. They also respond to media queries, arrange interviews and coordinate activities to enhance relationships with members of the press.
