AF AI Accelerator brings future faster

The U.S. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Artificial Intelligence Accelerator team visits aircrews at the 535th Airlift Squadron to understand the challenges that C-17 Globemaster III schedulers face at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, in early 2020. The team of Airmen and MIT researchers, staff and students used that knowledge to develop the artificial intelligence technology behind their project Puckboard. Puckboard is in the initial viable phase of research currently being tested by units in South Carolina and Hawaii. (USAF courtesy photo)
