Six years ago in September, the 77th Fighter Squadron “Gamblers” returned home to Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, after approximately six months providing the suppression of enemy air defenses over the skies of Libya during Operation Unified Protector – a capability that continues to be the calling card for Shaw Weasels of today.
