SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C.-- Six maintenance group CGOs and four Airmen spent about three hours washing an F-16 in the Wash Rack Feb. 10. The CGOs don't normally wash jets, they took the day to get an insider's perspective on a task that maintenance Airmen would normally do. F-16s are washed every 60 days to keep them mission-ready.
