Shaw, vintage aircraft celebrate Independence Day

Vintage WWII aircraft fly in formation during a Salute from the Shore air parade down the coast of South Carolina, July 4, 2015. Salute from the Shore, Inc., is a non-profit organization that coordinates a fly-by of military and vintage military aircraft along the shore of S.C. starting at Cherry Grove, just north of Myrtle Beach, and ending at Hilton Head Island in the southern part of S.C. Their mission is to honor the U.S. Armed Forces, past and present, through a free and public pass in review of the aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Diana M. Cossaboom/Released)
