Shaw Commissary donates food, strengthens ties

Ed Venticinque, Sumter United Ministries crisis-relief in-kind coordinator, right, and Aaron Koenig, Sumter United Ministries construction director, fill boxes with donations from the commissary at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., July 26, 2017. The commissary donated 863.5 pounds of food, adding to the 16,112.5 pounds donated since January 1, 2017. The food donations help individuals in the Sumter community who are in need of assistance, as well as other food distribution facilities throughout the area.
