SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --

Col. William R. Jones, Headquarters 9th Air Force, previously assigned as the 20th Fighter Wing vice commander, is currently facing one charge of wrongfully possessing images and videos of child pornography in violation of Article 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

The convening authority, Maj. Gen. Scott Zobrist, 9th Air Force commander, referred the charge to trial by a general court-martial, which is scheduled to begin March 13.
