Press Release 12-2017: Jones receives sentence

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  Col. William R. Jones, the former 20th Fighter Wing vice commander, was sentenced to 12 months confinement and dismissal from the U.S. Air Force by a military judge today.

Jones, who requested a trial by military judge and not a jury, pleaded guilty to wrongfully possessing images and videos of child pornography in violation of Article 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice March 15.
