SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  For this week’s Flashback Friday, grab your gloves and gardening tools.

Airmen assigned to the 20th Fighter Wing spread pine straw during a beautification project at Swan Lake and Iris Garden in Sumter, S.C., April 29, 2016. Approximately 50 Airmen volunteered to do landscaping at Swan Lake picked up trash.

The clean-up, shown above, is one example of Team Shaw Airmen donating time out of their day to strengthen base and community ties.
