SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  

Emergency personnel from the 20th Fighter Wing responded to a fire near target 101 at Poinsett Electronic Combat Range near Wedgefield, South Carolina, this afternoon.

The fire is currently 30 feet by 40 feet large. Base firefighters have requested assistance from other local fire departments. The fire is not currently close to roads or residential dwellings.
