Chief Master Sgt. Robert Benton retires

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Robert Benton retires after more than 30 years of military service here, May 16.
 
Benton originally enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 1982, and three years later enlisted in the Air Force. Throughout his career, he provided deployment support for Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Provide Promise, Operation Southern watch and Operation Iraqi Freedom/New Dawn.
