Shaw welcomes home 77th FS from deployment

SHAW AIR FORCE, S.C. -- More than 400 people welcomed home approximately 100 members of the 77th Fighter Squadron, the Gambler Aircraft Maintenance Unit and the 20th Operations Support Squadron after a six month deployment here at Hangar 1200 April 25.

The 77th FS was deployed as the 77th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron flying out of Kandahar Airfield and Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where they provided close-air support for coalition forces.
