79th Fighter Squadron welcomes new commander

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- The 79th Fighter Squadron passed the torch to a new commander April 12.

Lt. Col. Jason Plourde, 79th FS (outgoing) commander, relinquished command to Lt. Col. Raymond Millero, 79th FS (acting) commander. 20th Fighter Wing leadership, spouses and prominent Sumter officials attended the event as well to support the change of command.
