SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- The C.W. Bill Young Department of Defense marrow program officially kicked off at the deployment processing center here March 18. The program was created so active-duty service
members, National Guardsmen, Reservists, DOD employees, dependents and retirees may register to donate bone marrow or stem cells. The registration will continue throughout this
week at specific locations.
