SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Matthew Pettitt, 28th Operational Weather Squadron flight chief, celebrated his retirement here, Feb. 22.

Pettitt served for 20 years in the Air Force and had 10 assignments. Three of those years were served at the 28th OWS here at Shaw.
