Team Shaw hosts MLK luncheon

Shaw celebrated Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday at a luncheon with the theme, "Remember! Celebrate! Act! A day on, not a day off," here, Jan. 15, 2013. Guest speaker Norman Curlle, Kingdom Builders Christian Center pastor, spoke on the life and legacy of Dr. King using a parable from the Bible. Staff Sgt. Marquita Finley, Air Forces Central Command client support technician, recited poetry and Airman 1st Class Daniel Blackwell, 20th Fighter Wing photojournalist, played the saxophone throughout the luncheon. The luncheon consisted of Airmen, Soldiers and enlisted members, as well as officers and civilians.
