Chamber of Commerce representatives tour Shaw

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  Forty-four Chamber of Commerce representatives from across South Carolina tour Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Jan. 8.

Various leaders briefed the representatives about the different aspects of Shaw with the goal to educate them of the missions of the 20th Fighter Wing, 9th Air Force, U.S. Air Force Central Command and U.S. Army Central Command. The leaders they spoke to include Col. Clay Hall, 20th Fighter Wing commander, Maj. Gen. Lawrence Wells, 9th Air Force commander, Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Harrigian, AFCENT assistant deputy commander, and Lt. Gen. Vincent Brooks, 3rd Army/ARCENT commanding general.

The representatives toured the F-16 Fighter Squadrons, 20th Fighter Wing headquarters and U.S. Army Central Command headquarters.
