SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Lawrence Wells, 9th Air Force commander, and his wife Kathy Wells visited American Legion Post 15 Jan. 7, 2013, Sumter, S.C. He visited the American Legion Post 15 to talk with retired veterans and inform them on how the mission of the Air Force has advanced.
