Heritage Ramblers to carol at Shaw

The United States Air Force Heritage Ramblers Dixieland Ensemble from Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA will present holiday music performances across base, Dec. 12. Their ensemble features the trumpet, tuba, clarinet, guitar, trombone and electric drums.

Each set will last approximately 20 minutes.

The Ramblers will be at the following locations around the base: Childcare Development Center's multi-purpose room (8:30-9:15 a.m.); wing headquarters building (9:45-10:10 a.m.); military personnel building by Rickenbacker's coffee shop (10:40-11:05 a.m.); Base Exchange entry area (11:35-11:55 a.m.); Third Army's Hall of Flags atrium (1:15-1:40 p.m.); fitness center (1:55-2:15 p.m.); medical treatment facility pharmacy area (2:35-3:00 p.m.) and the youth center gymnasium (3:30-3:55 p.m.).

The Ramblers ensemble was formed in 2010 and is a part of the Heritage of America band. Caroling at different bases has become an annual holiday tradition that the band continues.

Anyone is allowed to attend their shows across the base. The band will perform at Shaw for one day before departing to their next event.
