Ann Blodzinski 20th Fighter Wing Public Affairs SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- A technical sergeant assigned to Shaw AFB died Nov.3 at around 3:30 a.m. Tech. Sgt. Otis H. Starks, 20th Force Support Squadron, was struck by a car. "The death of Tech. Sgt. Starks over the weekend is a tragic loss to the 20th Force Support Squadron, 20th Fighter Wing and the Air Force," said Col. Lance Kildron, 20th Fighter Wing vice commander. Our priority is to support his wife, children, family, friends and co-workers through this difficult time." Starks is survived by his wife and two children.
