20th CONS assumption of command

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  U.S. Air Force Maj. John Kendall assumes command of the 20th Contracting Squadron here on Oct. 24. Kendall began his career as a contracting officer at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. and served in both operational and systems contracting. In 2006 he cross-trained into aircraft maintenance and served in various flight commander positions, aircraft maintenance unit officer in charge and assistant maintenance operations officer.
