Col. Scott Ofsdahl, Command Chaplain, Headquarters Air Combat Command visited Team Shaw, Sept. 6.

Ofsdahl toured Shaw, visiting several Airmen around the base and getting a feel for each units operation tempo and mission.

The chaplains' mission is to make sure every service member of Team Shaw receives their 1st Amendment rights, freedom of religion, Ofsdahl explained.

Ofsdahl spoke to Airmen about their well being and asked how chaplain services could be improved.

As the command chaplain, Ofsdahl advises and represents the ACC commander on all aspects of the chaplain corps mission and ensures all ACC chaplains and chaplain assistances are prepared for any and all global deployments Ofsdahl said.
