Command chief retires after 30 years of service

Recently Chief Master Sgt. Lefford Fate held his retirement ceremony here.

Fate served his last assignment as the 20th Fighter Wing command chief, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C.
 
He was responsible for military standards, morale, welfare, training, professional development and good order and discipline for more than 4,300 enlisted personnel assigned to Shaw.
 
Fate served 30 years of service in the United States Air Force.
