Sumter, Team Shaw spread holiday cheer

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. --  Sumter held its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony Dec. 2, in front of the Sumter County Courthouse. Several members from Team Shaw attended the ceremony. U.S. Air Force Col. Charlie Moore, 20th Fighter Wing commander, helped flip the switch to light the Sumter Christmas tree in honor of the holiday season. The event brought out the holiday spirit as several elementary school choirs performed Christmas carols for those who gathered at the courthouse to witness the celebration.
