Dailian Washington, 20th Force Support Squadron commander, cut the ribbon to officially open the new fitness center annex at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Oct. 14, 2011. The new fitness center will provide a centralized location for service members to workout. Approximately 2,000 people work on the east side of the base, Air Force and Army members. The approximately 23,000 sq. ft. brand new facility has an exercise room, cardio room, free weight and strength equipment room and a men's locker room and women's locker room.
