AFRC hosts PCS workshop May 26 Published May 17, 2011 By Airman 1st Class Daniel Phelps 20th Fighter Wing Public Affairs SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- The Airman and Family Readiness Center will be holding a workshop for all military members who are getting ready for a permanent change of station at the AFRC May 26 beginning at 2 p.m. The workshop will provide information to military personnel and their families as they prepare for their move. It will show them how to manage and process the details in a one-stop shop setting. Some of the issues that will be covered will include housing information, legal problems, finance, the traffic management office, education, cultural adaptation, overseas clearances and the out-bound assignments brief. Any other questions that servicemembers and their families have regarding their PCS can also be answered at the workshop. Those interested in registering can call the AFRC at 895-1253.
