Chapel program offers help with pain from divorce

The Shaw Chapel Protestant community invites people struggling with the effects of divorce to attend DivorceCare, a proven program offering emotional, financial, physical, and spiritual recovery tools to manage the after-effects of divorce or separation.

The small-group course is 13 weeks in length and is Bible-based. The sessions will meet 7 to 8:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, April 12 in building 1207, the 20th Component Maintenance Squadron, in room 7 (the chapel education training center). People canĀ  start on any Tuesday.

There are 12 spaces available and resources are free. It is for singles or couples.

Topics covered include: the road to healing; facing anger, depression and loneliness; new relationships; financial survival; impacts upon children; single sexuality; forgiveness; reconciliation and more.
