Shaw Air Force Base summer employment opportunities Published March 24, 2010 By Mary Marshall 20th Force Support Squadron Marketing Office SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Shaw AFB is hiring part-time clerks and general laborers for temporary summer employment. We are anticipating 20 total positions. To obtain a copy of the employment information handout for this program, please visit www.20thfss.com or the Shaw Civilian Personnel Office, located at 504 Shaw Drive, building 1118, room 2107B. Resumes are accepted now through May 30. The 1st cut-off will be April 15. Applicants may submit packages directly to our office or mail their packages to: 20 FSS/FSMC 504 Shaw Dr, Rm 2107 Shaw AFB, SC 29152-5028 In most cases, employment will begin on May 9 and continue through no later than September 30. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age by date of appointment in order to apply. Along with the resume, applicants must submit other documentation as described in the employment handout. Incomplete packages will not be rated or referred. Applicants who want to be considered for the summer hire program must apply through the Shaw Civilian Personnel Office.
