Touching Base radio program
SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Derek Burress, host of the "Good Morning Sumter!" radio show, interviews Lt. Col. Marc Dauteuil, 79th Fighter Squadron director of operations, in the atrium of the support center, March 19. The Sumter Radio Station broadcasted Cadet News and entertainment from 1942 to 1944. Today, listeners may tune to WDXY 1240 AM or 105.9 FM from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. the first and third Friday each month for Touching Base.
