The Shaw Information, Tickets and Travel office hosted a travel fair Feb. 23 at the community center here for all military members, their families and civilian employees.

The travel fair brought recreation and lodging vendors out and to meet with anyone from Team Shaw and their families, allowing them to ask questions and receive information directly from the vendors. Representatives came from South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina for the ITT travel fair, said Dani McGrew, the manager for ITT here.

Not only does ITT help military members and civilian employees save money while planning their vacations, but it is also helpful for the area vendors, McGrew said.

"The Shaw travel fair is one of the best," said Mike Bianchi, sales manager for the Palace Theatre in Myrtle Beach. "The Shaw office is known all around Myrtle Beach . . . (and) is considered the best in the Carolinas."
