SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Colonel Salman, Iraqi air force meteorological department director and senior meteorologist, visited the 28th Operational Weather Squadron and the 20th Operations Support Squadron Feb. 16. Colonel Salman develops doctrine, policy, requirements, and standards to organize, train, and equip the meteorological department to support the Iraqi air force as well as the ministry of defense and other government of Iraq agencies.
