The military personnel section, 20th Force Support Squadron, implemented an MPS one-stop shop July 15.

The intent of the one-stop is to create an office for all military personnel issues, to provide better customer service, and to make it easier for the customer to receive support.

The one-stop will be the first stop for all military personnel customers.

They will handle personnel issues related to promotions, evaluations, reenlistments, separations, retirements, assignments, and force management. If the issue cannot be handled or further assistance is needed, the one-stop representative will schedule you for an appointment with the appropriate section.

Customers needing assistance with common access cards, military identification cards, decorations, special leave accrual, and passports will still be handled at the customer service window. The trial phase of the one-stop began July 15, with full implementation scheduled for Aug. 3.

"We need Airmen to be patient as we go through this new process together," said Tech. Sgt. Lashinya Jamison, customer service annex NCOIC. "This endeavor will hopefully enhance the MPS relationship with customers while allowing the MPS personnel time to accomplish updates, applications, assignment orders, etc. in a timely and efficient manner."

The one-stop is located in building 1118 and can be contacted at 895-1597. The hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday and Friday.
