CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Airman 1st Class Josh Brady, 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, climbs his way to the top of the rock while being safely secured by the rock-climbing instructor during a rock climbing excursion April 7 at the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, N.C. The day trip, which was hosted by Shaw Air Force Base's outdoor recreation center, cost $25 per Airman and included transportation, whitewater rafting as well as rock climbing.
