Shaw Spotlight: Airman 1st Class Kina McKnight

SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- This week's Shaw Spotlight is Airman 1st Class Kina McKnight, 20th Security Forces Squadron patrolman, from Goldsboro, N.C. McKnight has been in the United States Air Force for four years and plans to stay in "for the long haul."

"Airman McKnight continues to better himself and improve every day," said Staff Sgt. Amber Howard, 20th SFS desk sergeant and McKnight's supervisor. "Every day he helps other Airmen to learn and improve their job knowledge."

Family: Married to wife Jennifer McKnight for four years, they have a seven month old daughter Zamora McKnight, two year old son Nikkoli McKnight and four year old daughter Ja'sah McKnight.

Biggest goal: "Set my kids up for success, regardless of the path they choose."

Favorite food: Korean BBQ

Favorite music: Hip hop and R&B and rock.

Favorite hobbies: Online games, weight lifting and taking my kids to the park or Chuck E Cheese.

Motivation: My kids and education

Childhood heroes: Band directors, "They were the first sign of proof that play/listening to music made people better individuals."

Childhood dream: To be a music composer or band director.

Favorite movie: Pulp Fiction

Dream location: Delaware.
