Shaw Spotlight: Senior Airman Kevin Seney

SHAW AIR FORCE, S.C. --  This week's Shaw Spotlight is Senior Airman Kevin Seney, 20th Comptroller Squadron special actions technician.

Seney has been in the Air Force a little more than two years and has been stationed at Shaw since May 18, 2011. He plans to make the Air Force his career.

"Senior Airman Seney is a very dedicated and selfless Airman," said Staff Sgt. Jaimie Gill, 20 CPTS customer service NCO in charge.

"His job is a key piece of the 20th CPTS and Shaw Air Force Base. He ensures that Team Shaw and the 26 GSU members attached are not over or underpaid."

Family: An only child

Music: "Depends on what I'm in the mood for, but I love all types of music."

Guilty Pleasure: New electronics

Life Goals: "Setting myself up for a successful career within the Air Force," to include pursuing his Community College of the Air Force and bachelor's degree.

Heroes: Mr. Paulin, his grade school English teacher who has served as a mentor and friend throughout the years. "We're still friends to this day."

Favorite Food: Mexican

Favorite Movie: "The Shawshank Redemption"

Favorite TV Show: "How I Met Your Mother"

Hobbies: Spending time with his wife, socializing with friends, and traveling
