Warrior of the Week: Senior Airman Camille Regina

This week's Warrior of the Week is Senior Airman Camille Regina, 20th Civil Engineer Squadron structural maintenance technician, originally from Long Island, N.Y.

Regina works in the 20th CES structures shop performing carpentry, sheet metal, welding and locksmith duties.

"She is an outstanding Airman who recently cross trained from supply and progressed rapidly in structures," said Hiram Gascot, Jr., 20 CES vertical repair foreman. "Regina was recently nominated for Operations Flight Craftsman of the Year and Outstanding Performer for the Phase II exercise."

Her favorite part of the job is welding.

Family: Mom and two brothers in Pennsylvania

Hobbies: Welding, softball, running, camping and fishing

Favorite music: Classic rock and Janis Joplin

Favorite Sports Team: Chicago Cubs and New York Giants

Favorite movie: "Stand by Me"

Guilty Pleasure: "I'm addicted to the show 'Roseanne'"

Hero/mentor: "Master Sgt. John Draughon at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. He got me through my training and taught me how to get through the obstacles of being an Airman."

Goals:
She wants to get into school for welding and weld as much as possible.

If you could spend one hour with anyone, who would it be and why? "Janis Joplin. I want to know how she got through all of her hard times."

Favorite food:
Chicken Marsala

Biggest accomplishment: "Being able to cross train from supply to structure. I learned that if I want get somewhere I can do it."

If you could only have three things while stuck on a desert island, what would they be? A bayonet, a lighter and a book.
