77 FGS completes FARP training

An Airman assigned to the 77th Fighter Generation Squadron practices Forward Area Refueling Point (FARP) procedures at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., July 7, 2022. FARP is the rapid transfer of fuel from one aircraft to another. This capability makes it possible for fighter aircraft to land, replenish fuel and return to air-battle operations within a short time frame in austere environments.
