The father daughter princess ball was held at the Carolina Skies Club and Conference center here, July 12.

The formal event, in the main ballroom, afforded dads the opportunity to treat their little princess to dinner, dancing, photos, and memories they can share together in the years to come.

A hundred and nine fathers and daughters attended the event and participated in the festivities.

"The event went great," said Staff Sgt. Aaron Trammell, 20th Contracting Squadron contracting administrator. "It was held for fathers and daughters to be able to have a special night out and for fathers to be able to show their daughter how a man treats a woman on a first date."

The father and daughter dance is counterpart to the mother and son dance, which was held here May 12 of this year.

"The event was very fun," said Staff Sgt. Jessica Thompson, 20th Force Support Squadron NCO in charge of retirements and separations. "It provided my two-year-old son and I to go out and have a good time."

A total of 60 mother and son attended the mother son dance earlier this year.

Both events were created to help seal the bond between parents and their children, giving them an opportunity to preserve a special relationship.
