Col. Stephen Jost, 20th Fighter Wing commander, held his first all-call here June 2 after assuming command of the 20th FW on May 30.

Jost spoke to Airmen about change and his expectations for the wing.

"I know the Air Force is all about change," said Jost. "But, your purpose has not changed. The 20th FW will continue to provide combat ready airpower and Airmen to meet any challenge, anytime, anywhere."

He shared with Airmen his four C's on prioritizing how to meet the mission of the 20th FW.

Combat Readiness

"You need to have a combat ready mentality," said Jost. "I'm not just talking about the fighter squadrons, I'm talking about each individual with your specific skill set."

Compliance

"We are going to simply do what we are supposed to do every single day," he said.

Community

"I am a family guy," said Jost. "I would love for this wing to feel like a family. Airmen taking care of each other."

Core Values

"Integrity first, Service before self, and Excellence in all we do," said Jost. "I need you, just like you need me, to be men and women of [the core values]."

Along with the four C's, Jost spoke about Airmen using their full potential.

"Be bold. If you have an idea, share it," said Jost. "I'm all about innovation."

Jost ended by thanking the Airmen of the 20th FW saying, "You guys are doing a great job and you are getting the mission done."

"It's always good to hear what leadership wants out of us and their expectations," said Senior Master Sgt. Kenneth Adamczyk, 20th Force Support Squadron inspections manager.
