Approximately 123 women attended the fair, which was developed to educate women was developed to educate women about integrated wellbeing in all aspects of
life -- physical, mental, spiritual, and social.

"It is a great event for females in active duty and military wives to see what's offered to them on base and locally," said Airman 1st Class Julie Lee, 20th Aerospace Medicine Squadron public health technician.

Shaw AFB and Sumter, South Carolina community representatives provided information about cancer, child safety, relaxation therapy, healthy lifestyles, and dental care, as well as insurance and educational opportunities for themselves and their families from Shaw and the local community.

"The event went well," said Capt. Shawnice Shankle, 20th Medical Group group staff. "It's a great chance to get information out to patients and also a chance to meet with Sumter partners."
