More than 200 team Shaw members attended the 20th Force Support Squadron job and resource fair at the Carolina Skies Club here, April 17.

Approximately 50 business representatives set up booths to introduce potential career opportunities.

"This year we are having three job fairs instead of just one," said Rosalind Harps, South Carolina Works employee. "So many Airmen are planning for retirement right now and it is important for them to have the resources they need to prepare them for civilian work."

Sponsored by the Airman and Family Readiness Center and South Carolina Works, the fair provided a wide range of employment options.

From law enforcement to medical careers, teams Shaw members had several options.

"I'm retiring in October so it's nice to come see what's available," said Master Sgt. Joel Luera, Air Forces Central Command personnel readiness superintendent.

The next job fair is planned for summer and will feature resources for resume building and interview tips.
