Every year annual award nominees are chosen. The Airmen and civilians that receive this nomination have not only performed exceptionally at their jobs, but have given their time off work to improve themselves by volunteering in the community or enhancing their education. All nominees were recognized at the Medallion Ceremony the afternoon prior on Friday, Jan. 24.

"This serves as a way for people that didn't win this year to strive for things next year, and to know what they need to do in order to get to that point," said Master Sgt. Damon Pettaway, who is in transition to become the 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron first sergeant.

Congratulations to those who won an award as well as those who were nominated.

The winners will now compete at the Numbered Air Force level with other Airmen throughout the Air Force.
